A 14-year-old boy struggles to hide his infatuation with a single mom for whom he babysits. After witnessing the unfortunate circumstances of her situation, under the control of her boyfriend, he takes it upon himself to become the responsible man he thinks she needs.​

Director Statement
​
“Corn”, is a film that tells the story of an innocent boy’s first encounter dealing with his emotions and handling the complexity of relationships. During my study in the United States, I have many single mothers classmates who came to the United States alone to pursue their dreams. I saw the strong conflicts in them, It reflects the contrast between the dreams we have when we were young and the harsh reality we faced as we grow older.​
